Description
Netherton Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century. It features a timber-frame structure with painted brick infill and a plain tiled roof, which is hipped over the left side. The building has 19th and 20th century brick stacks, along with a large rear brick and rubble stack that has off-sets. The farmhouse is designed in an L-plan, with a gabled cross-wing that projects to the left. There are two windows in the main part and one in the cross-wing, all of which are 20th century casements. A central plank door is located under a plain hood. At the rear, there is a service wing and an attached dairy building, which is also timber-framed.
