Description

The Jones monument, located about 2 yards east of the northeast corner of the vestry of the Church of St Tysilio, is a chest tomb dedicated to Sarah Jones, who died in 1813. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a flat capping with moulded edges, a moulded plinth, and a cornice. The side panels have quadrant corners with moulded margins and paterae at the corners. The end panels are adorned with gadrooned through-balusters and swags.
