Description

This is a house, now used as a shop and dwelling, with an 18th-century facade built onto a 17th-century core. The front is painted brick, with a Welsh slate roof and a central brick stack. It is two storeys and an attic, with a two-window front. The windows are modern metal casements in altered openings, originally designed with segmental arches. There are bands marking the levels and plaster coving under the eaves. Two roof dormers have two-light casements set within moulded pediments. The left-hand entrance has a 19th-century fielded-panel door with a margin-glazed overlight, all sheltered by an open pediment supported by consoles and fluted pilasters. To the right is a 20th-century shop window flanked by fixed lights, also set within segmental arches. A storey band runs along the entire front. The interior has not been inspected.
