Description
No. 38 Broad Street is a house that has been converted into a shop and dwelling, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof with a brick end stack. The building stands three storeys tall and has a four-window range, with 6/6 sash windows set in moulded cases beneath gauged brick flat arches, which are adorned with stucco keyblocks linked to a storey band. There are also 3/3 sash windows and plastered soffits at the eaves.
The entrance is located to the right and consists of a six-moulded-panel door with a margin-glazed overlight, all set under an entablature supported by attached columns. The right side of the building has a 2/2 sash window on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
