Description

This barn, located about 95 yards south-west of Upper Newton Farmhouse, is likely from the 18th century and has undergone some later alterations. It features a timber frame with weatherboards and a corrugated iron roof. The barn has a rectangular four-bay layout that runs east to west. On the north elevation, there is a wagon entry to the right of the center, flanked by two openings, each containing two lights. Inside, the barn has raking strut trusses. It is included in the listing for its group value.
