Description

Gates and gate piers located about 180 yards north of Kinnersley Court, likely from the mid-19th century, feature wrought iron gates set on brick piers with sandstone dressings. The central gates consist of two leaves, flanked by two single gates, all arranged between four piers oriented roughly east to west. The gates have bars that rise to foliated ogees, and the bottom panels each display four scrolls. The piers are uniform in height, topped with a large plain string below the cornice and ball finials. These gates and piers are included for their group value.
