7/199 Granary and implement shed about 10 yards south-east - of The Lawns

GV II

Granary and implement shed. C18 and mid-C19. The granary is timber-framed on rubble plinth; hipped tiled roof. Square plan. Small square panels four high. Irregular doors to both levels at right side, central small opening; wooden pigeon nesting boxes above the ground floor door. The implement shed attached at right is also tile roofed; two levels, the upper weatherboarded and timber-framed level with three openings is supported on two brick piers and one post. Picturesque overall effect.
