Description
The granary and implement shed located northeast of Scarne Farmhouse is a late 19th-century structure. It features slatestone rubble walls and a rag slate roof, with a rectangular plan and two storeys. The front of the building has four large ground floor doorways, separated by granite monoliths. The central doorways have later windows with vertical glazing bars, while a 20th-century pair of ledged doors is situated on the right. On the left-hand end, there is a loading doorway for the granary on the first floor, which is accessed by detached rubble steps that include an iron handrail and a slate bridge. The interior has not been inspected.
