SX38SW HURDON ROAD 660-1/2/78 Pigsties and yard walls to NW of Hurdon Farmhouse

Range of pigsties. Early /mid C19. Slatestone rubble except cob to rear wall; rag slate roofs and rubble stack to rear of hipped end of swill kitchen on right. L-shaped plan with rectangular courtyard in front of pigsties in the angle. Single storey. Pigsties with 4 doors to front and 2 doors to left-hand return. Swill kitchen on right (accessible from outside courtyard) with door at the front. All openings spanned by oak lintels. INTERIOR not inspected. One of a good group of farmbuildings at Hurdon Farm.
