Description
No. 7 St Peter's Street is a shop that dates from the 16th or 17th century, with later alterations and a front added in the late 18th century. The building features a timber frame with brick infill and a stuccoed front, topped with a Welsh slate roof. It stands three storeys high with a cellar and has a single window range that includes a 9-pane sash window and a 2-light casement window above, along with a parapet. The shop front was updated in the 20th century. On the left side, the building reveals exposed box framing and a jetty on the first floor. Inside, there are massive wall posts and chamfered beams, most of which are plastered and painted, along with a later 18th-century winder stair.
