Shops and dwellings, now shop and hairdresser's. Mid C18. Stucco; brick; Welsh slate roof with 2 ridge lines; axial stack to left rear; composite end stack to right. 3 storeys, attic and cellar; 5-window range: C18, 6/6 sashes, under gauged brick flat arches and (to right) segmental arches; storeybands; 6/3 sashes, under gauged brick flat arches, to left, and three 6/6 sashes; moulded wood eaves-cornice; roof dormer with 5/2 sash. Ground floor of stucco; entrances to left: No.3/3A: C18, 5-panel door and overlight with glazing bars in moulded case with simple flat hood; No.4: late C19, 4-panel door and C18 fanlight, flanked by paired round-headed shop windows, all under joined moulded drip-courses. INTERIOR: late C18/early C19 dogleg staircase with turned balusters, and moulded string and rail, from 1st to 2nd floor. 2nd floor: C19 corner fireplace; 4-panel door; two C18, 2-panel doors; probable framing; C18 panelling. 1st floor: C17 panelling; C18 panelling; late C19 range; two 2-panel doors; 4-panel door; wall cupboard; early C19 tiled firegrate with marble surround. Ground floor: panelling, coving and architraves in wood. Cellar: stone-lined with much dressed stone. Wing to rear: massive trusses and ceiling beams; framing exposed outside (to north); 2-panel doors and wall cupboard; panelling; tiled floor.
