Description

The War Memorial in Hereford was constructed around 1922 and restored in 1988. Designed by L.W. Barnard, it is made of ashlar sandstone and features an octagonal shape resembling an Eleanor Cross. The memorial includes a lantern in the Perpendicular style and finials, along with military insignia, civic arms, and figures that represent the Armed Forces.
