Description
This barn, located approximately 50 meters east of Town's End, is likely from the 17th century and has undergone later additions and alterations. It features a timber frame with a sandstone plinth, although some sections have been replaced with brick, and there are areas of brick infill, woven cleft oak, slatted infill, and weatherboard cladding. The barn has tiled roofs and consists of five framed bays aligned east to west, with an additional four bays added to the west. A threshing floor is centrally located within the first five bays, with another threshing floor to the west and a partially inserted floor in the western bays. The structure includes three square panels from the sill to the wall-plate, inclined strut trusses, and V-struts in the gables.
