Description
Holland House is an early 19th-century brick house located on Belmont Road in Hereford. It features a Welsh slate roof with an advanced pyramidal gable on the left and a brick end stack topped with a 20th-century cap. The building has two storeys and a basement, with a five-window range that includes three 6/6 sash windows in an advanced canted bay, along with a 6/6 sash and an 8/8 sash to the right, all set beneath gauged brick flat arches. The brick modillion eaves add to its architectural detail.
The entrance is positioned to the centre right, featuring a four-fielded panel door with a margin-glazed overlight, sheltered by a moulded flat hood supported by pilasters. The left side of the house has similar window arrangements and a 20th-century reduced stack, with a stair under a pentice roof and returned eaves detail. A 6/6 sash window in a moulded case is also present on this side. At the rear, there is a wing with stone rubble on the ground floor and a brick end stack.
