Description

The granary, located about 10 yards west of Lane Farmhouse, is likely from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It features a sandstone plinth and a timber frame with four square panels high, incorporating brick and woven infill, all topped with a corrugated iron roof. The structure is arranged in roughly three bays and stands two storeys tall. On the south-east elevation, there is a two-light late 19th century casement window on the right side of the ground floor, with a ledged door to the left. In the centre, there are tallet stairs leading to another ledged door for the first floor. The granary also has three loft openings, each with thin vertical wooden mullions.
