Description
This outbuilding, located about 2 yards east-north-east of Court-y-park, is likely from the late 17th century to early 18th century and has been converted into a dwelling. It features a timber-frame construction with plaster and brick infill, a rendered rubble plinth, and a tiled roof. The building is arranged in two bays aligned north-west to south-east and consists of two storeys and an attic. The north-east elevation has one window on each floor, both of which are casements. The north-west gable includes late 20th-century casements, with one three-light window on the ground floor and a pair of two-light windows in the gable top, which has V-struts above its collar and is filled with tumbled brick-nogging. There is an external stepped stone stack with a detached brick shaft on the south-east gable, and an entry is located on the south-west side. The frame is slightly underbuilt, with three panels high from the cill to the wall-plate.
