Description
This outbuilding, located about 20 yards north-east of the Court House, dates from the 17th century and has been altered in the mid-20th century. It features a timber frame with some brick infill set on a rubble base, along with areas of brick replacement walling. The exterior is partly weatherboarded and has sections covered with corrugated iron cladding, topped by a corrugated iron roof. The structure likely consists of two framed bays aligned in a north-west to south-east direction. The framing includes two square panels extending from the sill to the wall-plate, and while no trusses are visible from the outside, old purlin ends can be seen. There is a window on the north-east side and a double doorway at the south-east end. The building is positioned close to the Court House and is included for its group value.
