Description

The 1914-18 War Memorial, built around 1919, is located on the east side of Brookside in East Leake. It is constructed of ashlar stone, with some copper elements. The memorial features a hexagonal platform that supports a chamfered octagonal base and a stepped hexagonal plinth. Above this is a hexagonal column with a moulded base and a scalloped capital, which is topped by a single copper cross.
