Description

No. 8 Main Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features a rendered exterior over red brick and has a plain tile roof with two red brick gable stacks. The building has dentil eaves and is set on a plinth. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central doorway has a six-fielded panel door with an overlight, and it is flanked by single reeded colonnettes that support a cornice. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows with wedge lintels, and there are two similar sash windows above. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
