Description
Swan Lodge is a lodge built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with two external gable stacks. The gables are decorated with terracotta coped crow steps and the eaves have a dentil detail. The building has a chamfered brick plinth and is a single storey plus a garret. The central doorway is pointed arched and has a plank door, with single pairs of pointed arched casements on either side. There is a single S-shaped tie-plate. At the rear, there is a crow stepped lean-to, and similar smaller pointed arched casements are found in the side walls.
