Description

This house dates from around 1720. It is constructed of brick, with a stone internal wall, and has a pantile roof. The design includes a brick plinth and cogged eaves, with a single gable stack. The house is two storeys high with two bays, and an additional single-bay range.

The east front has a 20th-century door positioned off-centre, flanked to the left by a blocked doorway, and then a plain sash window. To the right of the door is another plain sash window. A small, single-storey, single-bay addition with a gabled roof sits to the right again, featuring a 20th-century door on the left and a 20th-century casement window to the right. Above the ground floor, there are two gabled dormers, each with a 20th-century casement window.

The rear elevation consists of two sections, with three 20th-century casement windows of varying sizes, each with segmental heads. Above, to the right, are two 20th-century fixed lights with moulded brick sills.

Inside, the house has a restored principal rafter roof and two chamfered span beams with run-out stops.
