Description

The boundary wall to the former House of Correction was built in 1808. It is constructed of brick and features a flat stone coping. The wall has a rounded southeast corner and includes tapered, pyramidal-topped buttresses along Lower Kirklington Road. The wall is approximately 80 meters long.
