Description

Two houses, built in the early 19th century, are located on Balderton Gate in Newark on Trent. The houses are constructed of brick with stucco dressings and have slate roofs. They feature multiple keystoned lintels, one gable, and one ridge stack. The houses are two stories high with a two-window range of glazing bar sashes on each floor. The ground floor has two similar sash windows, each flanked to the right by a door with an overlight. The doors themselves have fielded panels. The properties are included on the heritage register for their group value.
