Description
This building, located at 3A, 3B, and 4 Guildhall Street in Newark on Trent, consists of two houses that have been converted into flats and a house. They date from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. The structure is made of brick and features a pantile roof with a single ridge and gable stacks. The eaves are dentillated, and there are segment-headed openings. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range of 2-light Yorkshire sash windows.
On the left side, there is a mid-19th century four-pane shop window with a panelled surround and cornice. Next to it is a 20th-century glazed door with an ogee scraper, followed by a flat-headed close boarded door. On the right side, there is a 20th-century panelled door with an ogee scraper, flanked by two Yorkshire sashes on the left and a single Yorkshire sash on the right.
