Description

Three houses, dated 1824, later altered in the late 19th and 20th centuries and now used as a house and shop. The building is constructed of brick, partly colourwashed, with a pantile roof. It features dentilled eaves and two gable stacks. The building is arranged over three storeys, with a four-window range to the front. The upper floors have similar fenestration with smaller, flat-headed windows. On the ground floor, a central, round-headed entry holds a close-boarded door, with a datestone inscribed "1824" above. To the left of the entrance is a renewed fielded six-panel door flanked by a Yorkshire sash window and a smaller casement. To the right is a 20th-century door flanked by a 20th-century shop window to the left and a late 19th-century shop window with reeded surround and cornice and a two-pane window to the right. The right side, facing Guildhall Lane, has a Yorkshire sash window; above it to the left, a smaller Yorkshire sash. Below, to the right, is a blocked door and a Yorkshire sash, while to the left sits a 20th-century window. All windows on this elevation have segmental heads.
