Description

The Minor Icehouse at Rufford Abbey is an early 19th-century structure built of brick. It has a single bay and a round plan with an oval section. The east side features a partly demolished entrance that includes a round-headed doorway with a concrete lintel. Inside, the round space has a flat floor and a domed top, with an approximate diameter of 4 meters.
