Description

The Ice House at Copper Top is a late 18th-century structure with an early 19th-century extension, currently used as a store. It is built of red brick and features a round arched entrance with a brick hoodmould. On either side of the entrance, there are single lean-to buttresses that abut the side walls. Inside, the entrance leads into a short early 19th-century passage that connects to a late 18th-century brick domed circular chamber, which is now partially filled in.
