Description

The war memorial, dating from around 1918, is made of Portland stone and features copper decorations. It stands on three oval steps, each with bolection type moulding along the lower edges. At the top, there is a plinth with an inscription plaque on either side, and a moulded head at the front. Above this is a rectangular inscribed base that supports a single column topped with a decorative capital. The front of the memorial is adorned with a single copper gilt sword, and the capital is crowned by a single copper gilt cross.
