Description
The former framework knitters' workshop, now occupied by Alfred Cook (Machinists) Limited, is an early 19th-century building made of red brick with a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has four bays. To the left, there is a single-storey, two-bay lean-to with a hipped roof, featuring a doorway with a panelled door and an overlight. To the right of this doorway is a single sash window. Further to the right, a single flight of wooden steps leads to the first floor. Behind the steps, there is a single quadripartite fixed light, and to the right of that, a single sexpartite fixed light. Above these, there is a single sexpartite fixed light along with a doorway that has a plank door, and on the far right, there is a single eight-light fixed light.
