Description
The Watermill Public House is a public house dating from the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the early and late 20th century. It is constructed of brick, which is colourwashed at the front, and features a hipped pantile roof. The building has a plinth, a first floor band, rebated eaves, and a single ridge stack. It stands three storeys tall and has a two-window range of glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. Above this, there are two smaller sashes with flat heads. The entrance consists of a central half-glazed door with etched decoration and an overlight, flanked by single cross casements, all featuring segmental heads. On the left side, facing Watermill Yard, there is a central 20th-century casement flanked by single Yorkshire sashes with segmental heads. Above this, to the right, is a similar window with a flat head. Below, there is a central blocked door flanked on the left by two glazing bar sashes with segmental heads.
