Description

56 and 58 Millgate are two cottages dating from the mid-18th century, which were restored in the late 20th century. They are constructed of brick and topped with a pantile roof. The cottages feature a 20th-century rendered plinth, cogged eaves, and a central ridge stack. The windows are Yorkshire sashes with glazing bars, and all openings have segmental heads. The buildings are two storeys high and have a two-window range. On the ground floor, there is a central pair of larger windows flanked by single 20th-century doors.
