Description
Numbers 17 and 19 on Church Street are a house that has been converted into a shop. The building dates from the early 19th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. The front is rendered with stone dressings and features a concrete tile roof supported by two brick gable stacks. It has stone quoins and projecting stone surrounds around the first-floor windows. The structure has three storeys and a four-window range of plain sash windows, with two smaller plain sashes above. The ground floor includes a late 20th-century shop front with a fascia, and to the right, there is an entry doorway with an incomplete stone surround. This building is included for its group value.
