Description
32 and 32B Church Street is a house that has been converted into offices and a shop. It was built around 1800 and has undergone alterations in the late 19th century and mid 20th century. The building is constructed of brick with a front made of coursed squared stone, featuring stone dressings and a concrete slab roof that has two gable stacks, one of which is rendered. There is an eaves band and projecting surrounds around the windows. The building has three storeys and a three-window range of wooden-framed two-light casements with transoms and glazing bar top lights. Above this, there are three smaller windows of the same style. The ground floor features a late 19th-century wooden shop front with panelled pilasters and ornamented brackets supporting the fascia. The central recess is splayed, with a shop window and doorway, flanked by larger two-light shop windows.
