Description
Numbers 10-16 on Church Side are four houses that have been converted into a shop. They were built in the early 19th century and have undergone some alterations in the late 20th century. The buildings are made of coursed rubble with painted stone dressings and slate roofs, with the roofs of Nos 14 and 16 having a steeper pitch. The windows have projecting surrounds; those on Nos 14 and 16 are rendered, while the others are made of stone. The windows are late 20th century fixed single panes. The structure is two storeys high and has a four-window range, with two pairs of windows on each floor. The ground floor features a full-width late 20th century shop front with a fascia and four large windows, one of which includes a doorway. To the left, there is a doorway with a stone lintel. This building is included for its group value.
