Description

Lodge Farmhouse and adjoining stables, dating from around 1675, are constructed of brick with a rendered finish and feature steep pitched roofs of slate and plain tiles. The building has a first-floor band and shouldered coped gables, along with a single gable and cruciform ridge stack. It is two storeys high with garrets and consists of five bays in an L-plan layout.

The windows are primarily 19th-century plain sashes. On the south front, there is a blocked window to the left, followed by two sashes and a door with an overlight. To the right, there is another sash. Above, to the left, are three sashes, with a blocked opening and a sash to their right. The east gable has a casement window, and to its right is a 20th-century lean-to single-storey addition, with a blocked garret casement above.

On the west side, the two-storey stable range features a late 20th-century lean-to cowshed to the left, with a blocked door flanked by single casements to the right. The house's west gable has two casements and a 20th-century door, with five pitch holes above, two of which are blocked, and another casement to the right. Above again, there are two blocked garret casements.
