Description

Moorgate Villa is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of Welham Road. It is two storeys high and constructed of stucco with a hipped slate roof. The villa features three hung sash windows with glazing bars, two of which are on the ground floor. The entrance door has six carved fielded panels and is topped by a radiating semi-circular fanlight. Inside the doorway, there are grooved half-columns, and access is provided by four steps. Moorgate Villa, along with its former stables, forms a group of buildings.
