Description
37 Moorgate is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed of red brick with a pantile roof featuring end stacks and tumbled brickwork on the gable ends. It has a stone plinth and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The building includes four windows with flush cases, hung sashes, and glazing bars, as well as brick bands between the storeys. On the ground floor, there are two canted bays with plain friezes and cornices. The central entrance features a six-panel door that is recessed within a wooden case adorned with engaged columns, accessed by three steps, and topped by a three-paned fanlight. To the left, there is a round-headed passage entry. This building is part of a group with Nos 33 to 45, with No 33 noted for its local interest.
