Barn And Attached Range Of Outbuildings At North House Farm

The barn and attached range of outbuildings at North House Farm date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of dressed coursed rubble with pantile roofs. The barn features a large blocked carriageway that now contains a small wooden door. Above to the right, there is a single blocked opening and a slatted opening with a glazing bar overlight to the left. All openings are set under segmental arches, and there are five slit ventilators, one of which is blocked.

To the left, set back, are lower two-storey outbuildings. From right to left, these include a doorway, a single window opening with a wooden panel, another doorway with a wooden door, a single window opening, and a further doorway. Above these are two wooden slatted openings with glazing bar overlights and a doorway with a wooden door.

Projecting from the left is an additional range that includes, from right to left, a doorway with a stable door, a flight of brick and stone coped steps leading to the first floor, and a small fixed light under a segmental red brick arch. Above this is a doorway and a single glazing bar casement under a segmental red brick arch. There is a single tie plate between the ground and first floors. The gable end features a doorway with a stable door and a glazing bar overlight, with a blocked doorway to the left under a red brick segmental arch.
