Description

The Junior School, built in 1831, is a single-storey school located on High Road in Carlton-in-Lindrick. It is rendered on an ashlar plinth and features a hipped slate roof with slightly projecting eaves. The building consists of five bays, each with three-light casements that have arched Gothick glazing bars beneath flat heads. The left gable includes a doorway with a wooden door and overlight, flanked by single similar casements. To the right, there is a two-bay wing that has a single similar two-light casement, along with a doorway featuring a wooden door.
