Description
Three houses, originally a single house, dating from the late 18th century with an early 19th-century extension and 19th-century bay windows. The building has a slate roof. The south front features two ashlar gable stacks, stone coped gables with kneelers, a modillion cornice, and ashlar quoins. It stands on a plinth and is two storeys high with three bays. The central doorway has a part-glazed double door, flanked by single 19th-century bay windows with glazing bar casements. Above are three glazing bar sashes in wooden frames. To the right is a two-storey, two-bay extension, with a single right gable ashlar stack, a stone coped gable with kneeler, a modillion cornice and ashlar quoins. This extension has a doorway with a part-glazed door and overlight, and a single matching bay window to the right. Above this extension are two glazing bar sashes in wooden frames. The two-storey west front has a single central ridge ashlar stack and ashlar quoins, with seven bays arranged in a gabled configuration. The outer four bays are gabled with stone coping and kneelers. A single glazing bar sash sits centrally, flanked by single doorways with panelled doors and overlights. To the left are two glazing bar sashes, and to the right a single arched and traceried glazing bar fixed light. Above are four glazing bar sashes. All sashes are set in wooden frames.
