Description

The Langold War Memorial is a war memorial unveiled in 1949, designed by I Ilsley. It features a square-sectioned, slightly tapering plinth made of dark grey Westmorland granite. Atop the plinth is a two-stage, moulded base for a sundial. The west face of the plinth has a gold-lettered inscription that reads "IN MEMORY OF THE MEN FROM THIS PARISH/ 1939-1945" followed by names.
