Description
The building is a former meeting house, now used as a house, dating from the 17th century and refronted in the 18th century. It may contain timber framing and is constructed of brick with a steeply pitched hipped and gabled roof, covered in corrugated sheeting and concrete tiles. The structure features a first floor band, cogged eaves, two ridge stacks, and is two storeys high with two bays, arranged in an L-plan.
Access is from the return angle. The south front, facing the street, has two 19th-century Yorkshire sash windows with segmental heads, and above them, two similar sashes with timber lintels. The irregular west front has, on the left, two Yorkshire sashes with segmental heads, and to their right, a single casement window and another Yorkshire sash. Above, on the left, there is a single casement with a segmental head and another with a timber lintel. The east gable features diaper work in burnt headers. The east front includes, on the left, a 20th-century gabled timber porch that contains a half-glazed door, flanked on the left by a single casement and on the right by a single Yorkshire sash. Above, there are two small casements. To the right, there is a plank door flanked by single small casements, and above, a hatch with a plank door.
