Description
The tunnel entrance and walls, located 40 meters north of the College Hospital, date from around 1860 and are constructed from ashlar. The entrance features a moulded cornice and a central large vermiculated rusticated carriage archway that has double wooden doors. On either side of the archway, there are single vermiculated rusticated pilasters that extend up to the cornice. The structure is flanked by coped walls that project from the right and left, which terminate in round piers, with the left pier adorned with a single orb finial.
