Description
The tunnel entrance, wall, and gateway to Glass Court date from the mid-19th century and are constructed of ashlar and iron. The tunnel entrance is positioned on a plinth and features a moulded and coped parapet along with impost bands. It has a central large carriage archway with a raised arch and keystone, which is accompanied by double wooden doors. On either side of the entrance, there are single, partially visible rusticated pilasters. Curved walls extend from both the left and right sides, also set on a plinth and coped, with cast iron brackets near the top. The right wall ends at the entrance to Glass Court, which is flanked by square piers topped with orbs and features a coped flat arch.
