Description
The Manor House and garden wall, dating from the late 18th century, is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick and stucco dressings. It features a pantile roof with raised stone coped gables and two brick gable stacks. The house is two storeys high with garrets and has a three-bay front with a plain brick eaves course. A central gabled porch has raised stone coped gables, kneelers, and a Gothick iron finial, with a central half-glazed 20th-century door. On either side of the porch are single glazing bar sash windows, and the first floor has three similar windows. All openings have cambered heads with splayed stucco lintels. To the left of the house is a limestone garden wall that features a pointed arched doorway with a brick surround in the Gothick style, topped with an embattled brick coping.
