Description
Hayes Farmhouse is a house built around 1780, constructed from coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and topped with a hipped slate roof. It features two brick wall stacks and has a two-storey, three-bay front. The front includes a brick plinth course, quoins, and a plain eaves band. An off-centre six-panelled door with a traceried overlight is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows, with three similar windows on the first floor. All openings have brick reveals and cambered heads with rubbed brick splayed lintels. The left side of the front has three bays, featuring a central glazing bar door with a Gothick overlight, two single glazing bar sashes on each floor, and a blocked central opening above the door.
