Description
The Manor House, dating from the late 18th century, features Flemish bond brickwork with a moulded cornice and a parapet topped with coping. The roof is covered with triple-roman tiles and has end brick stacks and coped verges. The building is two storeys high with three bays, showcasing 16-pane sash windows that have rubble brick voussoirs and cambered head reveals, except for a Venetian window in the centre of the first floor. The central door opening has a six-panelled door with a fanlight above, framed by a stone door case with an open pediment supported by engaged Tuscan columns.
To the right of the house is a section of brick garden wall that is approximately 40 metres long and three metres high, featuring brick coping and a pointed-arch door opening with a plank door. There is also a two-storey, two-bay wing to the left, which is not included in this listing. Inside, there are some contemporary features such as the staircase, ornamental plasterwork, and window shutters.
