Description

Maltkiln Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. It features a pantile roof with raised stone coped gables and kneelers, along with two brick gable stacks. The building is designed in an L-shape and has a two-storey, three-bay front. The central entrance is a planked door set in a plain wooden surround, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. There are three additional similar windows on the first floor, and all openings are topped with flat ashlar arches.
