Description

The Old Beer House is a house dating from around 1700, with some alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings, topped with a pantile roof and featuring two brick stacks. The two-storey, three-bay front has a half-glazed door from the 19th century, centrally positioned and flanked by single, unglazed windows. Above are three unglazed windows. All openings have brick segmental heads with raised keystones. The interior includes two simply stopped and chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
