Description

Beehive Farmhouse is a house built in 1797, with some minor alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble, has a cement rendered gable end, brick dressings, and a pantile roof with two gable stacks. The front has three bays and is two stories high, featuring a central 20th-century door that is sheltered by a 19th-century rustic porch. This door is flanked by two plain sash windows. Above the door, there is a semi-circular stone inscribed "NTM 1797" set in a brick surround, with two additional plain sash windows on either side. The windows are topped with brick segmental heads. To the right of the main structure, there is a later two-story lean-to extension.
